Highlights: Theatre Workshops in Paris

Astoria Theatre Company offers a 2-hour immersive workshop experience, open to children, teenagers, and adults, with groups adapted to each age and skill level. Each participant is encouraged to express themselves, create, and collaborate in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Participants are divided into small groups (around 6 people) to rehearse a scene inspired by the play they will see together in the evening. Guided by professional artists, they explore all aspects of theatrical creation: acting, directing, set design, costumes, make-up, sound, and music. Some will perform, others will direct, create soundscapes or work backstage. The aim is for everyone to find their place and thrive as part of a team.

Each group then performs in front of the others, with a light-hearted awards ceremony to close the workshop (Best Acting, Best Directing, Best Costume, Best Make-up, etc.).
Participants then have the possibility to attend a surtitled performance in English at Théâtre de la Huchette or another selected play.

Workshops take place in studios in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, metro Pelleport line 3bis. The fee is €70 per person (€80 if fewer than 15 participants; minimum of 10). Advance booking and payment are required.
If you wish to attend a different play than those offered at Théâtre de la Huchette, please submit your request several months in advance.
